This product is the standard thatching grass that they use for thatching. Always make sure that your thatch roof is build according standard. The slope of your thatch roof must be 45˚, if the slope is too low there will be a possibility that your thatch roof may rot.
The Cape Reed is used for the ceiling inside a thatched roof. It is more presentable and more durable that thatching grass.
